Daughter of jazz bassist Charlie Haden and a third of The Haden Triplets, Petra Haden has been in Tito & Tarantula, that dog, The Rentals and The Decemberists; she’s contributed to a ton of other band’s recordings, including albums by Beck, Mike Watt, Luscious Jackson, Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer and The Gutter Twins; she’s put out a bunch of a cappella recordings, including The Who Sell Out; and she’s even put out a self-titled collaboration with killer jazz guitarist Bill Frisell. Whew!
