The 3rd annual Monolith Festival is coming atcha. And soon. Hosted in an incomparable venue – nature’s perfectly sculpted outdoor amphitheater, Red Rocks, in Morrison, CO (just outside Denver) – Monolith Festival 2009 will bring 60+ of the hottest indie bands together with about 10,000 fans in this stunningly unparalleled setting, amidst rattlesnakes, scrub jays and enormous protrusions of red sandstone…..to rock.
I was heartbroken when I heard that Chief Hosa Campground, a sweet little slice of woodland history, is no longer available for concert camping, but there are some nearby sites where you can pitch a tent, or you could always go the modern, indoor plumbing route and grab a hotel room.
