The Black Heart Procession's SIX (Temporary Residence, 9/21/09) is apparently deeper, darker and more resonantly rousing than ever - supposedly the band's best since, 3 (Three Mile Pilot, 2000).

Also dark and writing (but not named black in any language), the Moog-fueled meditative trance of Maserati's Steve Moore from Temporary Residence: Monoliths [mp3]

You probably already know I'm an unabashed Helado Negro fan. Love him. Love him. Go HERE for more Helado Negro. More confetti than darkness, but Negro fit the color scheme... and did I mention I'm crazy for Helado Negro?
